    • Introduces low / medium / high confidence levels on every lookup response.
    • Confidence reflects observation density, recency, and behavior-pattern matching.
    • Designed to plug into existing fraud-rule thresholds without custom probability modeling.

  15. Closed beta expands

    • Selected fraud, bot-detection, and threat-intel teams can evaluate Solarflare with sample data.
    • Bearer-token authentication is available on every endpoint.
    • External design partners start testing Solarflare against real abuse and traffic-quality workflows.

  16. Network-type classification

    • Lookup responses now include a network_type field for residential, mobile, datacenter, and VPN-style observations.

    • The first response shape includes a boolean observed_proxy field.
    • This preview establishes the API foundation for later confidence, freshness, and network-type fields.
