Terms

Terms of Service

The baseline terms for accessing the Solarflare website, evaluations, sample data, and Solarflare API unless a signed agreement says otherwise.

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to the Solarflare website, sample data, evaluation workflows, API, documentation, and related services unless you have a separate written agreement with Solarflare.

By using the services, you agree to these Terms and to the Acceptable Use Policy. If you use the services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

The service

Solarflare API provides proxy and VPN intelligence signals based on observed proxy infrastructure and related data processing.

The service is an enrichment signal. It is not a guarantee that an IP address, user, device, transaction, or organization is safe, risky, lawful, unlawful, fraudulent, or legitimate.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for activity under your account, API keys, credentials, and systems used to access the service.

You must keep credentials confidential, use reasonable security controls, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Customer data

You retain ownership of IP addresses, logs, files, and other data you submit to the service. You grant Solarflare the rights needed to process that data, provide the service, maintain security, and support your use.

You are responsible for having the rights and notices required to submit data to Solarflare and to use the output in your own systems.

Output and decisions

Solarflare output is intended to support risk, fraud, abuse, traffic-quality, and security workflows.

You should not use Solarflare output as the sole basis for decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on a person, including decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, government benefits, or eligibility for essential services.

Restrictions

You may not misuse the service, attempt to bypass limits, reverse engineer non-public systems, interfere with availability, resell data without permission, or use Solarflare in violation of law.

Additional restrictions are described in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Fees and paid plans

Paid plans, usage limits, billing cycles, and payment terms are defined in the applicable order, invoice, checkout flow, or written agreement.

Unless stated otherwise in writing, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Availability and changes

We work to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every signal will be complete, current, or error-free.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, product improvement, or business reasons.

Intellectual property

Solarflare owns the website, API, documentation, software, service design, and proprietary datasets except for customer data and third-party materials.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for your internal business purposes.

Confidentiality

Non-public technical, business, pricing, security, and product information shared by either party should be treated as confidential and protected with reasonable care.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solarflare will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, security risk, non-payment, unlawful use, or material platform abuse.
